Winner of Easy Cooking Contest Announced
Within the framework of the festival “Easy to cook!” passed the final of the contest “Easy to cook!”, which was held by the magazine “Home Hearth” with the support of Whirlpool since April 2011
For a battle in a culinary duel, readers of the magazine were invited to send the most interesting recipes: Ekaterina Glushenkova, Natalia Abanina, Ksenia Starodubova, Anastasia Kudryavtseva, Elena Zagoruiko Kudryavtseva.
On June 4, at 12:00, the competition began in the kitchen of the Hearth Institute.
The host introduced the finalists to the guests and introduced the jury, which included: Maria Vinogradova (editor-in-chief of the magazine "Home Hearth"), Elena Pankratova (editor-in-chief of the magazine “Tasty and Useful”), Natalya Filatova (editor of the culinary series "Easy to cook!"), Oleg Sotnikov (cook at the Home Hearth Institute).
After that, the participants were provided with sets of products from which they had to prepare three dishes in 1 hour: salad, appetizer and drink / cocktail.
While the dishes were being prepared, the jury studied in detail the recipes they sent to the contest.
Ready meals were brought under the numbers, the jury did not know which of the finalists was the author, so the decision was made blindly.
After a thorough tasting, the jury chose the winner, she became Ekaterina Glushenkova from Moscow, which received the main prize of 100,000 rubles.
The jury praised the rather successful selection of recipes that Catherine decided to present in the final of the competition. All the participants prepared delicious dishes, but Catherine's dishes favorably differed in their laconic presentation, special scrupulousness of preparation and a rather subtle sense of compatibility of tastes of various products for the home chef. Even in difficult conditions of the competition, Catherine managed to make her competitive menu memorable and vivid without repeating in culinary techniques - for each dish a unique set of ingredients and a special presentation were invented. We heartily congratulate Catherine.
The jury also highlighted Anastasia Kudryavtseva, she was presented with a one-year subscription and the opportunity to prepare her own menu for shooting in the September issue of Home Hearth magazine. All other participants in the finals received a microwave as a gift. Whirlpool Vitess Oven.
